ASKPANDA问盼达
(2020-05-09 22:59:20)Un astronauta a bordo...oh, wait. We just confused ourselves with @nasa_es, our Spanish-language counterpart (¡hola!). Let’s start over.
An astronaut aboard the @iss took this photograph with a short lens camera, capturing almost all of Mexico, from its mountain ranges to its long coastlines.
The Pacific Ocean is visible on the left side of the image and on the right, the Gulf of Mexico. At bottom, you can see a tiny bit of a gold-colored solar array belonging to Northrop Grumman's Cygnus cargo spacecraft, which delivered supplies to the space station in February and will undock on Monday. The Suwannee River in Georgia is known as a “blackwater river” due to its dark-brown waters laden with organic material. Its ink-like waters act like a tracer as it pours into the Gulf of Mexico, revealing where the river water mixes with the sea.
